Im März hat dann auch die Bar nach 30 Jahren ihren Dienst getan und wurde, angepasst an den neuen Stil der Almlounge, komplett demontiert und neu aufgebaut. Auch hier sind wieder die traditionellen Materialien wie Altzholz und Steinwände zum Einsatz gekommen.

Im November haben wir unser Kaminzimmer einem Allround-Facelift unterzogen. Der ganze Raum wurde entkernt und mit modernen aber auch traditionellen Elementen in eine alpin-moderne Almlounge verwandelt.

In April we refurnished the single rooms Fagstein completey with interior, Windows, Flat-TV ...

In November we have completely renovated all 10 rooms of the category "Edelweiss" and "Edelweiss-Eck". The rooms, bath rooms and  windows were completely removed and replaced. Also a fire alem system was installed. Have a look at the construction gallery.

In the spring the old reception was torn down and resconstructed as a traditional "Reception-hut" in antique wood. Th eresult was one additional workstation and an enrichment of the lobby. See the photo album of the construction diary here

In autumn 2008 the ground floor of the former rooms of the type "Watzmann" were also completely renovated and are now called "Alpenrose".

2007

In autumn 2007 we have started realizing our most daring project - the extension of the new restaurant with a basement floor. And the whole project in only 7-week construction time! We have done it.

In the new extended building we placed our new restaurant as well as our professional Fitnesstudio and a new childrens playroom in the basement.

In parallel with the above building works we have rebuilded the complete wellness area (former health/ spa department) - also in only 6-week construction time! Now this area is called  "Alpenhof's Wohlfühl-Alm " (Alpenhof's Wellbeing-Alp).

In spring, 2006 the single rooms of the type "Kehlstein" and double rooms of the type "Jenner " got a complete "facelift" and are now "shining" in flowery colours and now also have the popular corner couches.

2005

Then in autumn, 2005 we have completely renovated all bathrooms of the room types "Schneibstein", "Kehlstein" and "Jenner ".

2004

In autumn, 2004 we completely renovated the 1st and 2nd floor of the rooms former called "Watzmann" and now they are called "Alpenrose".

2003

In May, 2003 we opened after 6-month construction time our new outdoor swimming pool The new outdoor swimming pool is all year round is heated on 30°C (86 °F) and it was in 2003 the first private all year round heated outdoor swimming pool of the Berchtesgaden country.

For additional relaxing space in the pool area just beside the outdoor swimming pool, accessible from a connecting passage of the indoor swimming pool, our sun pavilion has been constructed.

In autumn, 2002 we have renovated all 15 baths of the "Watzmann" building. Now they laid out in the finest Estremoz marble.

1988

After there is now the new indoor swimming pool, the old indoor swimming pool was completely stoned in 1988 and the new meeting room "Bauernstube" was built.

1986

Then in 1986 the "Edelweiss" rooms and our new panoramic indoor swimming pool have been constructed. Since this time we can accommodate in the "Alpenhof" 100 guests.

1981

In 1981 a part of the first house was broken down and the building "Jenner " with 10 deluxe double rooms was builded. This year the new kitchen, a big restaurant and the leisure rooms have been also built.

1975

In 1975 the hotel has been extended by 15 spacious deluxe double rooms of the type "Watzmann". A health/ spa department rounded the offer of the SPA- and Sports hotel "Alpenhof".

1971

Six years later, on the 01st of June, 1971, the guest house was extended by 16 beds of the type "Gruenstein" and an indoor pool - the guest house became the a hotel.

1965

On the 01.06.1965 the guest house "Alpenhof" with 24 beds, the today's "Schneibstein" was established. Michael and Johanna Hinterbrandner laid the corner stone for the today's "Alpenhof".
