The Berchtesgaden country offers in the spring, summer and autumn many activities. First of all it is a Mecca for hiking and climbing. If you love clean air, beautiful views and untouched nature - this is the right place. Approx. 180 km of hiking trails from the flat walking trail up to the demanding high mountain tour - you will find that all here. And almost everywhere the tired hiker will find traditional mountain pastures - nevertheless, here the shandy is the best.
Since some time absolutely trendy: Climbing on special climbing trails. Also here in Berchtesgaden - first of all the climbing trail on the "Grünstein" at lake Königssees - you have a big choice of different trails with varying degrees of difficulty.
But also for the friends of action we have a lot of possibilities - whether Rafting, Canyoning, Bockerl runs, archery, high ropes courses, Paragliding and and and... here you get whatever you can imagine.
Well cared mountain bike trails in and around the national park of Berchtesgaden are waiting for our mountain bikers. Nevertheless, you need a certain condition to be able to do mountain biking, due almost all cycle tracks have somehow big height differences and strong gradients.
And finally: Also the golfers can fight out a match on the Obersalzberg in the golf club Berchtesgaden, one of the highest located golf courses in Germany.
